Can't Recover Lockdown SAFETY WORD

now i know it says to remember it and all that junk but i cannot remember it for the life of me.
i think i typed it in wrong the first time around.

and it doesnt give you an option like: Type your safety word here________, Re-type your safety word again________.

and i messed up on the word cuz i was doin it fast and then now i cant recover it.

ive tried to uninstall/reinstall multiple times, treid everything i could think of in SSH and still nothing.

I AM NOT gonna restore.

and the number code still works it'd just be nice to know both the passwords.. im sure you guys know what im talking about.

anything i can delete or ANYTHING AT ALL???

thanks guys

I don't think there is a way to do it wothout restoring. If there was that would sort of defeat the purpose of having a password in the first place...

yes iI do think it would defeat the point of having one to some extent. But let's say you forgot your passcode, then you type in your safety word to retrieve it (like it is now)... It should be the same for the safety word as well. Just right there on the main menu. Becuase then what's the point of having a password when you could just type in the safety word instead?

Shouldn't the safety word be buried in a .plist or a .nib file that's in the lockdown app? I don't really know I kinda looked around and didn't find anything/didn't know what I was looking for.

Or of could be buried somewhere we'd never think of....

if such data is buried somewhere I would HOPE it would be encrypted, as that is not that hard to do. I doubt that it is buried somewhere where we can just grab it. If that's the case, shame on Apple. I guess for hyour sake I hope there is an easy fix

That's what YOU think. Unless you are a cyborg and can decode thousands of lines of hexadecimal code to find the string of characters that actually mean your passcode....... ya.... you ARE going to restore.
