Hi all. Quick question for you.

I have my iPhone hooked up to my car speakers via cassette tape adapter. Before I upgraded to 2.1 from 1.1.4, I used to be able to talk into the mic on the bottom of the phone while it was still plugged into the car. However, now apparently the mic doesn't work when it's plugged in. Anyone know if this is simply a side effect of 2.1? Is there any way to get it to work again?

Hmmm, should still work. I use mine running 2.1 in the same way. I wired in RCA audio inputs to my suburban and plug my 3g in using a rca to headphone cord. When I get a call it rings through the car...I answer and can hear the person through the vehicles speakers and with the phone in my lap can talk back to them.
