Okay I have the 1 Gen Iphone with the latest software and I can't figure this out. On the latest Iphone TV commercial at the end when a call comes in and it shows the name and of the person calling. If you look closely there is an image (Thumbnail size) on the upper right of the person. How can I get that on my iphone? Also I seen a commercial a while back that show a thumbnail size of the image of the person when you scroll down the contact list. How can I set that?

wow i thought i was the only one lol not alot of peolple peep that i did since last year i notice the caller id picture was like u said thumbnail size i was like what the f..... ever since i been thinking about it go to settings?? do you know how to get it like that? good eye i thought it was only in the cormercial....

To get it thumbnail size, you need to have that contact/s photo in your address book on your computer & it will show up in a thumbnail.

No. They still show up full size on the screen.

I'm not 100% sure but I think I read somewhere you need to sync your contacts with outlook and have their photo in your outlook also

It works for me. All I do is load my contacts into Outlook and then give them a photo in there. When my phone rings, the contact picture is a thumbnail.

It all has to do with where you set the pic...

If set from the phone itself then it will appear full-screen, while if set in outlook then synced it will appear as thumbnail...
