there must be something that prevents contstant safari crashes...
because I have cleared all of my history cache and cookies every day and i still can't get more than 2 mins surfing on it without it dumping me to my home screen again.
Its the most frustrating thing in the world.

In my case uninstalling intelliscreen and reinstalling it also helped

hmm thanks for the suggestions.
Its a brand new phone (3 days old) so i dont think a restore would do it, and I dont use intelliscreen...
Another problem I have is when exiting programs and clicking a springboard icon, it thinks ive pushed and held it, so all icons start to wobble in edit mode... Anyone else get that too?
Those are my only 2 gripes with this fantastic piece of annoying electronics

Might have a problem with the digitizer. Have you jailbroken the phone? Added any programs that mod the way Safari works?

go with a restore, if that doesn't work take it in for a swap.

Your sticking home button sounds like a Defective Device. But try a few things. First go to settings > General > Home Button and have it on iPod. With iPod Controls ON. You go back later and switch it to Home. But anyway. Go back to first setting page and select Brightness. Turn Auto-Brightness OFF. This has been known for makeing Safari Crash. Set Brightness about three quarters the way. Now... Go back to first settings page and toggle Airplane Mode ON. Click the Home Button and turn iPhone OFF. Now restart. Go back to settings and turn airplane mode OFF. Back to Home Screen. Get a Wifi Signal. Open google maps first and allow for it to fine your current loction when the pop-up appears. Back Home....Now open Safari. Open Google Mobile if you like. Do a search have it open a second page. Don't open too many pages at the same time keep it down to say three or four at a time. Back to home. Now reboot again. When up connct to iTunes nd do a sync and backup.
Follow these and it should work better. I hope. ChrisIf you find my Postings useful or interesting. Press the .... Thanks Button.
