Question any options for multiple email identities?

I've googled this to death but can't find a decent solution. I own a domain and have all mail to that domain forwarded to gmail. At gmail I can setup identities for each so that I have [email protected], [email protected], etc.

Is there any way to do this on the iphone? I'm not stuck to gmail and am willing to switch. I have tried Yahoo as well but it works the same as gmail on the iphone. The strange thing here is that the google app doesn't allow the switching of "from's" like the desktop version does.

Can I do this with MobileMe? I'd rather not spend the money but will if that's my only hope.

    thanks

if you have more than 1 email account added to your iphone, when you send an email from your iphone you can set a default account that it sends from every time.

however, if you then tap the email address "FROM" you can then scroll through your other email addresses added on your phone and choose which one to send it from.

if thats what you were looking for?

Default Multiple identities in one account

I'm interested in using multiple identities within a single account. My alumni email forwards to my gmail account, but when I try adding my alumni address as an additional account, it changes the settings for my original gmail account.
