Hello one1, I was hoping to bother you for some assistance. I have an Iphone 3g 16gb. A few months back I attempted a housing swap for one of those cheaply made red after market housings. About mid way through (and after I found out I would have to do some gluing...YAY!!!)I decided to 86 the swap and "attempted" to put all the original parts back together. Well after 2 new batteries,(first attempt was a higher capacity battery and of course I found out later that these where hit or miss)a new screen and a new charger dock assembly I can't get the phone to either accept a charge or boot up. I tried to put it in DFU mode, recovery mode and yada-yada-yada mode but still no luck. So I'm thinking it's either the flex cable or maybe I somehow fried the main board. Either/or I'm still out $$ for a phone I broke and can't fix. So unless you can think of someting I can try to do your services would be greatly appreciated.
