Is it normal that Cydia crashes constantly?
So basically every time I'm using Cydia and searching and looking it ALWAYS crashes and I have to restart Cydia all over again?
Is this Cydia not compatible with 2.1?
Or what else could it be causing this?
I also was looking for some Volume Amplifier so I can raise the volume louder.
Can I?

Are you waiting for it to update before you start searching? Mine will crash sometimes if I mess with it before its done.
So long, and thanks for all the fish

Mine also crashes sometimes if I start searching before all the updates are complete. If you already updated the sources and are just entering back in cydia, hit the cancel button before searching, or just wait for it to finish.

i get crashes every now and then but nothing to the extent you speak of. I can;t say that it is linked with searching though as I have had it crash after installing an app too.

Yes it will crash if-
- You get going before it is finished refreshing
- You stay on it for longer than ten minutes (it can crash after a period of time)
Otherwise no, it will not do it for no reason out of the blue.Screw #Winning, I'm #Juanning

Yes, very common.
I jailbreak/iPhones at least 50/week and 80% of the time Cydia crashes for no reason.

too much memory
Cydia crashes all the time for me too. What kind of iPhone do you have? I have the original 2g. As soon as I open cydia my free memory keeps getting lower and lower and lower and cydia always crashes once I get below 15MB of free ram.
I think this happens because of all those ridiculous ads and all that **** that needs to load up on the cydia interface.
Is there anyone I can contact who can fix this for the lower memory devices?
