3G 2.1 ON 1st GEN iPHONE

I have 1st gen iphone, with 2.1.
3G connection/sim card.
Is it possible to have the 2.1 soft in it instead of 2.1 for 1st gen?

It will give you an error when trying to update with the wrong firm.

I don;t think that should matter. I guess my question is this... are you having issues? What are you worried about?

No issues... Even the exchange syncs fine... Just curiosity and -maybe- network speed

You won't be able to get FASTER network speed on a 2G phone. You are limited by your hardware, unfortunately.

You must not know your stuff to well. There is no way you have 3G on a 1st gen iPhone lol
