Hey all . . .

First, I want to thank every developer, tester, user, and poster to these forums for all the unbelievable work that has gone into iphone modding (without compensation I should say) -- this community is the whole reason that I bought an iphone!!

Anyway, since doing a complete 2.0 restore/jailbreak/unlock months ago, loading soo much crap onto the device with not one fatal crash requiring a restore . . .(Categories, WB, Dock, Stack, 5 dock, Taskbar, 80 Cydia Apps, 85 Appstore Apps, etc . . ) Loving it!!!!

Then, yesterday, phone crashed while Appstore update - and you know - the dreaded Apple Logo Of Death!!! Boring . . .

So, decided to just do a complete restore, to clean any spunk left over from previous modding . . . Itunes synced Apps, and started adding a few Cydia Apps. Then, every respring/reboot/crash, I would get stuck in the ALOD. And, with the collective knowledge of the ether, I found the SSh mobilewatchdog.bundle fix, which would get me back online.

But, not for long. Everytime I change something like Categories folders, it would hit ALOD. - - BORING.

So, against the info at iPhone ALoD: MAJOR design flaw!! - Mac Forums, I did not replace mobilewatchdog.bundle. The guide says the device should reset every 10 mins, but mine doesn't seem to. I have stared at it for 30 mins, with no budge.

OK now, what's the latest? People still getting ALOD? People find another workaround besides SSh/mobilewatchdog.bundle? Anybody else leave it out and any side effects?

Again, thanks very much for all the answers and continued work . . .
