Iv just updated to 2.1 and im getting annoyed :(

I have just updated my firmware to 2.1 and when i try to run an application it keep quiting like 2 secs in to loading it Please can anybody tell me what is causing it and how to stop it ??

Try reinstalling the app that crashes, if it's not any particular app (meaning that every app crashes, even after reinstalling it) then maybe something went wrong when you pwned your phone, try using quickpwn again, if same proble happens again, restore , if found that sometimes there's somehting orng with the system files that you just cannot find out... and restore is always the right choice in these cases :s

I think it is when i Install the official apps off app store. It has happend with 2 of them i have deleted them and redownloaded them and it still happends ...Or could it be that they are not compatible with the 2.1 firmware .eg Ipint ?? just a tought....I could try snycing them with itunes from comp instead of doing it via the app store watcha think...thanks

try going to settings and turn on airplane mode. Close. Reboot. Back to settings turn off airplane mode. Also go to settings turn off autobrightness. This may fix your apps closing.

I too have a problem with 2.1.. silent mode won't work even if i turned it on already.. btw i'm using iphone 2g.. wish someone could ehlp. thanks in advance!

i read the same problem at the macrumors forums, the solution was restore with the pwnage custm FW, sorry but hope that helps. As for the silent mode not working, try changin the ringtone, rebooting and then change the ringtone again, this worked for a friend of mine, hope it helps you
