Creation of iPhone's hard-drive image backup

Hi all.
I was wondering if this was possible. Is it possible to create an image from my iPhone so that I have that backup if anything goes wrong with upgrading/jailbreaking/activating?

And by image, I mean a real image. Not just plain copy/paste of the files (which I can do anytime, except for some files) but also the BooLoader, the bootsectors etc.

Is there any such program or technique?

Well to access the file system, which would backup the files, you would have to jailbreak your phone. If you want to back the files up, try a program called iFunBox. Great backing-up program...
