Is this right after a restore?

Any format takes up a percentage of the drive space for partition and file map, but it's nowhere near 25% of the total. Are you doing a restore from backup, or is this soon as its done the restore? And when you plug into iTunes, is this 1 GB showing up as "other"?

It was a restore using a Winpwn version and yes, I restore from backup. In iTunes other is 867mb. Above my serial number & version it says Capacity 3Gb. I remember fooling around with something dealing with partition with Winpwn. Thanks for all your help by the way...

That would have something to do with it then. The Winpwn sets aside 500MB by default and you may have made it even larger, then it also moves (via Cydia) all your Apps and Ringtunes to the Media folder taking up even more space. So its quite possible that its taking up this much space right after a restore. I would restore your iPhone using Apple's firmware, and then just run QuickPwn.
