So yeah.
updated to 2.1 and because(i think) i had my icons poofed on my jailbroken 2.0.2 firmware, When i upgraded it kept even the default iphone apps poofed.

so currently i have youtube maps itunes and appstore on my springboard, nothing else. except the bottom dock of course. Now, I've jailbroken it and it still has the same issues. So since i cant install open ssh onto my phone i cant access it to kill the springboard and refresh it, and recovering doesn't give me my icons back either.

wtf. im brain ****** on this one. any help is greatly appreciated.

damn im having badluck.

getting some stupid error on iphone browser when i try to run it.
unable to load itunesmobiledevice.dll. i found that specific file in the exe.rar from this site, but the installed iphone browser still gives me the error

Restore in itunes and set it up as a new phone.

no, no, you don't want to do that. It's the backup that causes the problem.

Set it up as a new phone, then you can sync your contacts etc afterwards
