is jailbreaking completely reversible?

so I was thinking of jailbreaking my new phone and wanted to know if it completely reversible with a fresh restore? And will it void my warranty? Also is safe to update a jailbroken phone?

A restore does completely reverse a jailbreak. It only voids your warranty if you bring it into the store and show them it's been modded. It's always better to restore to a new firmware rather than upgrade if you're in a jailbroken state.
