Can I use my iPhone 3G's Zagg front coverage on an iPhone 2g

I got a zagg before getting the 3G and now I am not getting the 3G. So, just wanted to know if I can use the front coverage for the 3G on a 2G?

I didn't want to deal with it so I just exchanged it for the 2g screen. Like Bio says, why don't you just sell it and buy the one made for the 2g? It will probably save you a headache.
