iPhone 2.1 Ipod question

I have a first generation iPhone and i just upgraded to 2.1 from a 1.1.4, and when ur listening to ur ipod on the phone u can click the home button twice and an easier way to change songs comes up and u can switch songs or pause.etc, but now that i have 2.1 it doesnt let me do it, all it does is show a play button but doesnt allow me to skip to the next song. Can anyone tell me why or if theres a new way to do it. Thanks.

Go to settings/ general/ home button and turn your iPod control on. That should do it.

i have mines set up so that contacts favorites comes up from double tap but when the ipod is being used double tap summons the pop-up ipood menu! like tony the tiger says "theyre greeeeaaaaat!"

I upgrade mine to 2.1 from the 1.1.4 version but now it's only recorgnizing only that SIM it activate, how can I get it to read my other SIM. All my SIM is from AT&T? thanks
