Contacts on my iphone

i noticed that i must save the number of a contact two times in order to get his name when calling and in sms

another questioon

can i import the contacts and be able to see it on the pc with a known format and having some options like edit,save and so on

you can sync your phone with outlook and edit your contacts that way.

i'm not sure of your first problem. i haven't seen anyone else with the issue...

i think that my first problem is due to my operator
does my outlook recognize my iphone ?

itunes will recognize your phone and you will use itunes to configure your iphone contacts to be sync'ed with outlook

i plugged my iphone to a pc which dnt have itunes but outlook is installed
the outlook didnt recognize my phone
i wanna get my contacts on pc

i got a problem each time i try to sync my ifone .. the itunes goes like ur ifone could not be read in order to be able to sycnronize u need to restore ur iphone to factory settings , the fone itself is working jst fine ..
i need to get my contacts b4 i can restore the fone .. coz restoring it will erase all of my data so how can i do this without itunes ???
i really need help with this , ive been searchin for too long and i couldnt find anyprograms for like importing contacts , there are programs to import songs but none for contacts , plz help with anythin a program a tip anythin
