Default iPhone Memory full, not sure why

There is something taking up all the memory of my iPhone and I have no idea what it is.
In iTunes it is labeled as "Other"
How can I find out what data is taking up all that space?

    Thanks

Those could be your apps...do you have a lot of apps installed on your phone?
What type of phones do you own? firmware?

I have the same problem, I unloaded all my apps, cydia apps and itunes information and I still have about 7GB of other data, and when I check in Cydia it says it is itunes data. How can I identify what is using all this memory?

I had the same issue, itunes was updating files (music) and basically copied them twice into my phone but they showed as other, took 10GB. I read a thread on here about deleting some files F1-through whatever it went up to and then re-syncing. Deleted them and problem gone. I tried to look for the thread for you but couldn't find it. Maybe someone else who is a little more tech knows what I am on about. GL
