to start off, i just got my invisible shield in the mail, and after several failed attempts, i have up, then went back at it again but i ran out of spray, so i looked up and found out it was water with a bit of soap, so i filled it up and tried to do the front side, didn't work out for me, then did the back, everything working fine.
after i installed it and waited around 5 hours, my phone kept on turning itself on, but not all the way , i would only see the apple logo, then it would turn off, then apple logo, then turn off ect, if i turn it on, it goes on fine but after a couple of minutes the slide to unlock comes up, goes away then the phone restarts and the apple logo comes up , phone turns off, ect.
im thinking maybe water damage? hopefully not, maybe software.
i just restored, and when the phone rebooted the slide to unlock came up, but i taped cancel,
still to see what will happen in the next 10-20 minutes,
let me get this right.. You sprayed your phone with water and soap?!? Of course it's water damage. Flash a light into the headphone jack, if you see a red dot, it's water damage. If not, you got lucky; go return it to apple.
am experiencing the same exact problem, but am sure its not a water damage because never cleaned it with water, neither soup, and didnt even fall from me, however i tried to restore it but still the same problem it works just fine when its not unlock for like 10 mins than it freezes and i had to restart it and most of the times when i lock it but the sleep buttom it restarts by itself and keeps restarting. i restored it and upgraded the firmware it went worse, its giving me no service (i have the turbo sim because it doesnt support my country's sim cards)
if any1 could help i would really appreciate it..
