iphone / touch digitizer

so i got a broken digitizer on my iphone. 2g. and the digitizers for the 2g are expensive as hell. id rather buy a new iphone. and is there a way the ipod touch digitizer works with the iphone ?

The iTouch part is actually different.

I would try finding one that is broken with a good screen. Maybe ebay or craigslist. You can get them relatively cheap and use what you need.

yeah. i actually tried that allready. i still have warranty for it, but i knoe that apple wont even replace it becuase i tried to fix the glass screen part. while i was doing it my dumbass brother runs in, ON MY BIRTHDAY and gives me a Bday beatdown and i accidently pushed too hard. and his *** is like what 9 years old. i looked on craigslist locally but theres no one. and on ebay eh..
