I Have a few questions, hope you guys can help

I just bought an iphone 3g from a friend for 280 usd,he paid 199 with the contract, he just canceled his contract on the 2nd month, so he has to pay an ETF and the last monthly bill. He told me that he is not going to paid none of them, so i guess they will send it to a collection agency or something right?

Well, my questions are,

1-Can ATT/Apple deactivate the Iphone 3G via itunes or remotely due to this?
2-Im going to use the Iphone 3G with Tmobile using TurboSim, do I have to jailbrake my iphone just to use the sim adaptor?
3-Do i need to know other things related to this?

thx in advance

You dont have to jailbreak to use the sim adaptor.

No, there is no way for AT&T/Apple to "deactivate" your phone. All AT&T can do is block it from using AT&T's service. So if your going Tmo...your fine.

cool, but the App Store and Itunes will still work as usual correct? cuz i heard that some people where having problems while connecting to itunes to sync, due to problems with the sim card adapter
