Unusual Battery Status with FW 2.1?

Anyone notice any unusual battery status issues in the new 2.1 on a 3G?

For example, I had a full charge last night. To test the new FW battery life, I purposefully did not charge last night, and fell asleep listening to the ipod as usual. When I woke, battery still indicated full charge which I knew was off....but, I continued to use the phone throughout today. Finally, about an hour ago it went from full charge to critical shutdown requiring charging....my indicator never suggested anything between full and empty. I haven't messed with any of those .pngs so I know it's not a theme issue.

I've got it undergoing a full recharge now but, has anyone else had any issues?

I actually had this happen with 2.0.2.... I rebooted and it never came back.

Thanks......I'll keep an eye on it after this full recharge and see how she behaves.
