Get hi-res album art for itunes 8

I've been using itunes since version 5 or 6 and i added a lot of my own album from the web and amazon, alot of these are fuzzy, pixelated, wrong size, etc. and they look worse now that itunes 8 makes alot more use of the album art

How can I massively delete (~8700 songs) the artwork from these songs?
Itunes has an option to delete downloaded artwork, but I need to delete self-added artwork, yes I could do it one album at a time, but Ive got things to do!

When you use the Get Info option to modify a series of songs, any new album art work will replace the old. If you simply drag new album art onto the song (bottom left corner) it simply adds it to the MP3. I found the best size to have hires while maintaining a small MP3 profile is 600x600. I changed all of my artwork to this.

thanks for the quick, if not inane reply. I think i have figure out the answer to my own question, select all songs, then click get info, check the box next to artwork, then click ok
this should delete all the artwork
then you can select all, and let itunes find the artwork
