its a silly question but can i update to install 4.0 i am using 1.1.3 atm
or do i need 2.0 for it to work ?

installer 4 is for 2.0.x firmware....but still a bit buggy.

ok 1 more question if i make bk of my apps and install 2.0 then re uplaod hte apps will they work ? or need ot reinstal all my apps also does the new one support old apps ? that r for 1.1.3 ? ty in adv.

nope...they wont work...you would have to reinstall everything again...most of the apps have ported to 2.0 but not all.....but good news is there are tons of new, cool apps for 2.0 now.

what about the contacts ? if i make a bkup of contcts will it still work ? with new one,

iTunes should back that up....i linked mine to Outlook on my pc and entourage on my Mac.
