No sound coming out of reciever??(Hardware)?
I purchased a unlocked Iphone its running 4.05 firmware and the 2.0.1 version...its got app store and cydia as well as installer..everything on the phone works fine except the reciever..i cant hear anything on calls or ringing unless i use he headphones or put it on speaker..i've searched all over this forum for an answer and have tried the headphone trick as well as the song playing and pulling out...i dont think its the headphone jack..because when i change the volume it doesnt say headphones next to ringer..i was thinking maybe this could be a hardware problem...maybe i need to restore it or something..if anyone can help i'd appreciate it.. thanks

it's hardware. it would say "headphones" if it were software glitching, or if the jack was stuck.

A restore will only fix software issues, because your only loading software.
That does sound like a bad speaker (hardware), to which the only solution is repair work...which wont happen with Apple as your iphone is "unlocked".

I experienced this the other day. I tried plugging and unplugging my headphones a few times. It did the trick. I think the sensor gets stuck. Otherwise, get a bluetooth!
