ok this is crazy my phone powers up but never boots to the "slide to unlock" screen unless its plugged up to a computer usb I've tried my best i did a restart but I really want to know how to fix it

try hold both the power button and the home button.
If that doesnt work, you might have to restore.

youll have to DFU restore. its the only way! you prolly turned it off and it was installing/updating a program
