need help download apps?

the problem i have is that everytime i try to register with itunes it doesnt let me. I only have a american credit card but it has a canadian address, so when i choose canada as my country and enter the credit card number it says i need a canadian credit card, however when i put USA as my country and enter the credit card number, it gives me the same error
is there any way to get around this?
( i only have that one credit card )
can anybody give me any advice or atleast point me in some sort of direction
