please help cant restore my phone keeps giving me a unknown error message (1604) right at the ent of restore

did you create the "device support" folder in your itunes folder? If its there, make sure there is no file in it. If there is delete and restart the pwnage process. If you are on pc and can't find the folder, look for this file in your search: x12220000_4_Recovery.ipsw
This file will be in your "device folder". If its not there and the "device folder" is not there either, then you may have to rebuild a new custom firmware and make sure that itunes is at the latest version.
