stupid question i know, but i live far from a apple store and does anyone know if i go to the apple store to buy a iphone will the make me sign a 2 year contract with at&t and activate the phone there or can i just buy it and leave.. thanks

If you're at the store...they will make you sign a contract and activate there on the spot.
