Am I screwed?

I think I tried to unlock my Iphone 3g v2.0.2 with wrong software. Iphone now only shows "Connect To Itunes", when I connect to Itunes I get prompted to restore my phone, I then get another error when trying to restore.....Please start the public tar and feathering

Your going to have to give more information.

Also, you cant "unlock" a 3G, so im assuming you meant "jailbreak".

Anyways, put the phone into DFU mode and restore:

1. Itunes open, phone plugged in. Turn phone off.

2. Hold power button for 5 seconds.

3. WITHOUT letting go of power button, hold home button for 10 seconds.

4. Let go of power button, CONTINUE holding home button for 10-20 seconds or until itunes recognizes the phone.

Restore.
