Okay so I told the genius bar that my iPhone 3g had a dead pixel. They said they would replace it but they didnt have any in stock, but i called apple later to check if they had the same iPhone I had and they said they dont run out. Now i was wondering when they call me so i can pick up the new iPhone 3g is it a refurb or new? Could I complain to get a new one? I just bought the phone about 9 days ago.

I would push for a new one under 30 days.

exactly especially with the battery issues on apple devices. I mean if they give me a refurbished one that was used for a month im going to be pissed.

Considering you can still take the phone back and get a refund.

They will have to give you a new one.

I believe within 10 days you can get a refund (maybe minus a restocking fee). Point is, if yours is defective, they should give you a "new" one in that time frame.

huh a 10% restocking fee would be about 33 dollars. Thats kinda big for a restocking fee. Guess i just have to talk back to the genius bar if they give me a refurb.
