    Exclamation Tackle this question!!

    Alrightey fellas, i have a question that has probably been asked in this forum already but i probably havent seen. i'll cut straight to it.

    i have a unlocked/jailbroken iphone on tmobile. i also have an iphone account on at&t that is also under my name but bro pays for it. my At&t acct is available for the 3g upgrade. my question is....

    Am i able to upgrade my Iphone to the 3G on At&t's network but still be able to transfer the 3G's SIM back to the 1st Gen Iphone and downgrading the 3G internet plan back down to EDGE so i basically have the Iphone 3G on the side? (for unlocking purposes later) Is this possible? has anyone tried it? Will the 3G SIM work on the 1st Gen iphone?

    The SIM is irrelevant, 3G is iPhone hardware dependent. You can use your regular SIM in a 3G phone or a 3G SIM in a 1st gen phone, it really doesn't matter.
