custom icons from URL links

I hope this is the correct forum...

I have a few app launchers that are URLs and I'd like to change them to fit a theme I have. I've made the icons .pngs and saved interlaced but I'm having a hard time finding a guide or even looking through the directory through winscp as to where to put this type of file.

any guidance? do I make sense? thanks.

Does anyone know where they are at? I would like to add a custom MMI and a Craigslist custom icon, but can't seem to find the loction for it.
