Try using disable auto-correction from iClarified. You can get it from cydia.

lol. I think they fixed it now, but it wouldn't let you type flickr on 2.0 either.
Correction: It still doesn't let you. Not really an issue, just a funny quirk.

OMG! I just notice that when u type flickr, it wont let u press the "r"! it just makes u press the "e". I was wondering what was going on when i was typing messages in the past. I thought I was just hitting the wrong key. But actually it was choosing the keys for me! Thanks 461am

Try spelling the word Cool with a "K" instead of a "C" and see if it lets you type an "L" at the end of the word... I guess they want everybody to get an unlimited text plan and stop using short hand lango with our friends...
