No signal 2.0 >> 1.4 problems

I did, like many others, upgrade my firmware to 2.0 in iTunes by not thinking. I followed several guides and got it back to 1.4. But one problem remains....i got no signal almost everywhere. I´ve downgraded and upgraded my phone several times after this, and done guides including apps like KiPhone and Winpwn.
Here is the funny part...both me and my girlfriend both an iPhone (we got the same carrier company, Telenor). She got signal @ places i dont...i placed MY SIM-card in her Phone...and i didnt got any signal there either....i placed HER card i MY iPhone...and voila...a signal. So i guessed it was my SIM-card that was broken. So i ordered a new one...but still....the problem remains.
I cant really figure where the problem is.
I´ve tried my SIM-card in a regular Sony Ericsson...and it worked @ the places i got no signal.

Im really desperate, im all out of ideas.

Facts:
iPhone 2g Firmware 1.1.4.
OS; Vista (But the problem didnt change in XP or Vista).

Sounds like your account is the problem...Call the service up and ask them to reset your account. That should solve it. Good Luck.

You mean my telephone company?
yeah but...it works in other cellphones.

If you have wifi, yu could try to install bootneuter and reflash the baseband. Or restore like you would a 1.1.4 phone. Try iLiberty+, that's what i used to downgrade from 2.0.1 to 1.1.4.

Hmm, is it possible that the phone has become "Allergic" to my phone number? Thats the only decent solution i can come up with atm.

when you downgrade you didn't downgrade the base-band so its still a 2.0 phone with 1.1.4 firmware

But still...my girlfriends SIM-card works in my phone.
