Restore Help

I've recently restored my phone and every time I connect it to Itunes it asks me to set up my phone. I've backed up my phone 3x now and every time it still seems to come back to this menu. I can't get around it, anyone have any advise?

This is my first Iphone so sorry for the noob question.

dont worry...after you have restored using your back up. Now, just choose set up as NEW phone...and sync. You'll be ok. It's not like you have to activate and blah blah blah..again.

I did this and it worked. Before sync or backing up from a previous backup, I opened Cydia and installed a bogus software (anyone should do). Then I rebooted my phone and plugged it in and from there, it started the syncing and all of my data was already on it. The screen to set up as a new phone was no longer there.
