    Default Restoring to factory state?

    Hi,

Have a OTB 1.0.2 that has been through alot of modding /hacking and have noticed that some mods/hacks stay no matter if i upgrade firmware or down grade even ( DFU ).

Is there a way to restore iphone to factory like state? ( aka no user settings, etc. ) want fresh out of box firmware filesystem.

I'm not looking at returning, etc...just i have done some mods that i do not like anymore and want undone but done in terminal so no uninstall methods and forget all i have installed.

Just for example, i did the call voicemail mode to change button to my carriers voicebox retreival, but even after I change firmware and not ( restore iphone settinsg from itunes ) aka no contacts etc...my voicemail still on my carrier settings...so this means phone is not factory state whcih i would like to get my phone back into and redo everything from scrath properly.

Usually when you Restore via DFU to a higher firmware like 1.1.3, then it has to wipe out everything from the system. After that I would just DFU back down to 1.1.1 and jailbreak, and install the Baseband dwongrader from the i.unlock.no source, and the Virginize Script from the same source, then just restore to 1.02 or 1.1.1 and you should be back to stock

    Been there done that.

Seems make It Mine by Erica Sudan stays as well.

Virginizing just does your baseband...need something for whole iphone.

I don't suppose you've tried restoring to the 1.0.2 firmware, have you?
