itunes is saying my iphone is full of other stuff?

so i plug my iphone in, to upload the games LAX album and this is what i get. ive tried restoring and deleting all the apps. it still is thinking i have all this "other" stuff on it. theres nothing in the folders when i go into it, anybody know whats up?

just noticed that, 12.85gb is what i used to have for music. something really went wrong here.

Not sure if this was a double post or not, but I'll explain again.

It looks like your iPhone was recognized as a new device in iTunes. What you need to do is SSH into the phone, delete the current /var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control folder. Then look for the original that has likely been remaned something else, and rename is back to iTunes_Control. Then resync your phone again and your old stuff should pop up.

The easiest is to restore and set it up as a new phone. Resync and voilà

Haha, why do people always resort to restoring as the first action to be taken. Keep in mind his "voilà" also includes resyncing 12GB worth of music.

It can take 5 mins to fix the problem, or 2 hours to restore and resync. Which is actually easier?

lol. i actually restored my iphone and its all back now. im just letting it sync while im at work,. thnx eurisko though.
