They just updated to 16GB so iPhone 2 probably end of this year.

    or early/mid 2009

Microsoft owns the internet through Hotmail. The .HTML is short for Hotmail, so all .HTML files are MS files.

an exec at AT&T allegedly outed that the iPhone 2 would be out in early 08', but this doesn't mean that it will. Also, they could have been simply thinking of the 16GB as the iPhone 2...

PS: Why do we call it the 'iphone 2'? Why not the 2G iPhone?
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Perhaps because the 'version 2' iPhone is touted to have 3G capabilities - calling it the 2G iPhone will get very confusing.

I happen to have some strong info. Take it for what it is worth. The phone that the At&T chuckle head was referring to was the 16gb phone. Jobs was going to make it part of his keynote, but opted for the shock and awe of it release. The other thing is this... We have the dev kits coming (and or leaked) soon. What are th major aches and pains of the iphone? No mms, no flash for the cam, not a vid cam, customizeable, etc. All of which we have dont on our own. Minus of course the hardware stuff. So, what will we see and when? It wont be this year. It will be when we roll into the 2yr of the iphone. why? Contracts come due. Upgrade time! That is of course for those on AT&T...

I see your reasoning, but don't see how you could know this? 'Strong Info'- sounds more like speculation to me. It does make sense, sort of. But couldn't they release it after 1 year instead of 2? That too would be just as effective. And then approx. 1 year later they could release another one with upgraded memory. This, just like all 'info' about the 2G iPhone, is pure speculation.
