I WAS TRYING TO UPDATE TO 1.1.1 I HAVE AN UNLOCKED 1.0.2 WITH T-MOBILE I CLICKED ON RESTORE WITH SHIFT I ADDED THE FIRMWARE FOR 1.1.1 IT SAID ERROR SO I WENT TO APPTAP I CLICKED IT AND RAN IT TO THE IPHONE IT SAID ERROR I CLICKED OK HERE THE PHONE IS SUPPOSE TO REST BUT IT DIDNT IT JUST SAID CONNECT TO ITUNES SO I RAN APP TAPP AGAIN AND NO RESULT SO I JUST TRIED TO ****** RESTORE IT USING ITUNES TO GET THE NEWEST VERSION I CLICKED RESTORE BUT IT KEEPS GIVING ME ERROR 1603 wtfffffffffffffffff NOW ITS STUCK ON CONNECT TO ITUNES HELP PLZZZZZZZZZZ ****

First step: Turn off your caps lock.

hold the power button and the home button of the iphone... Then restore it to 1.1.1 and jailbreak it

You can either put it in DFU mode by holding the menu and powerbutton untill it turns off. Once the power turns off release the power button but hold the menu button for about 15 more seconds. If your connected to your computer via usb ull hear the usb sounds. That's when you will know it's in dfu mode. Or you can use use ibrickr to boot it.

Shift+Restore with ver 1.1.1 and the SIM(original SIM is best) in the phone. If it gives you error. Close your Itunes and run Ibrickr and reboot from there.
