iPhone Headsets + Water= ??

i just accidently washed my iphone headsets in the laundry machine (in my pocket), then it went through the dryer too!! later when i tested to see if it would work both headsets worked 100% and even the button to play/pause was unharmed. i did it again to test my theory (lol) and it was 100% working again.

wouldn't recommend putting it directly in water even though i washed it in my washing machine. just giving you the heads up..
