iPhone 3g with 2.01 running sluggish

I can't remember how it was running with 2.0 because i got my iphone and upgraded it that day but my phone has been running sluggish taking a while to open and close programs...it froze once...and when typing on the keyboard it is WAY SLOW and lagish...i tried using my sisters 1.1.4 or w/e and it was so smooth not lag or sluggishness at all! any tips on how to fix this?

I have the exact same problem. Same story too, got my new 3G phone, and upped/jailbroke it right away to 2.0.1. Runs slow, buggy, lags, typing is delayed, temporary freezes, etc etc. Anyone else have an answer or comment about this? I'm not happy at all.

Try upgrading to 2.0.2. Fixed SOME or MOST of the lagginess for a lot of folks.

I got ma iPhone 3g and jailbroke it same day and mine seem to run fine on themes and keybaord themes too. Try install the firmware again. or try get 2.0.2 jailbroken
