im with fido,canada on a iphone 3g with contract.
Just got a big message on my screen saying ""UICC update failed 1"
the only options were to accept or decline.
i wonder if the phone is phoning home!! or if they were trying to update my sim!!!
i googled that error, nothing god came up. except that UICC is the chip on the sim card?
Anyone else?

I just got this for the first time today as well.
I am ALSO a Fido user in Canada.
