On a scale from 1-10. 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. How would you rate the iPhone 3G's GPS?

6. Only because half the time it thinks I'm ontop of some building instead of on the road.

2, it took me 45 min to get a signal lock while driving. It is completly useless.

I'll give it a 6 only because the "SHOW TRAFFIC" feature has been dead accurate thus far. That's all I really use the GPS for. Sometimes I use it to find a Dunkin Donuts.

Yeah, I think it might be just that. I was in LA awhile ago and it would basically track my every move. I come back home to Houston and wham, I'm on top of buildings again.

I would give it a 7, as where I am it does a decent job of telling me where I am. My only issue is that I have to hold it up in the car. If I put it by the dash the signal often drops, and sometimes it is difficult to get it to lock on again. Also, without turn by turn it is not living up to its standard!
