iPhone gone nuts out of the blue

hello everyone,

i have a big problem with my iphone the screen locks by this i mean i cant unlock cant answer, it can do this 20-30 times a day even if i do a reboot or it can go on all day working just fine...

i saw at one point an error about AppleMultitouchSPI.kext failing to load...

please help me im going nuts...

Restore....if it continues, take to Apple.

You'll have to do a "fresh" restore. Don't restore from backup because whatever is conflicting will still be conflicting when you reload the same stuff back on.

1. cant take it back to apple because i live in romania
2. i did restore many times still no luck

3. i wish someone could give me some help cause i'm going nutsi suppose that kext not loading is the problem

What firmware are you on? What are you using to jailbreak/unlock? Are you setting up as NEW in iTunes after the jailbreak? Are you testing the phone without installing any 3rd party apps?

firmware 1.1.4 used iliberty+, allways setting up as a new phone in itunes, no 3rd party apps

Having the same problem here with "applemultitouchspi"
Touch screen is totally dead. So far I havent found any solution to this problem. The phone is very much useless without the touch screen capability

If anyone has any suggestions, do help. Thanks!
