moving from 2g to 3g..

Hey, as much as i am excited about the 3g as you guys are, i would like to ask (assuming it hasnt been asked before) that would it be possible to sync all my contacts, songs, calendar blahblahblah from my old iPhone 2g to the new 3g? i'll be getting the 3g aniway but just asking so i'll know what to try and what not to try.. =p also, would it be possible to sync my 3g with my information on my laptop to my pc?
In simpler words,
2g is currently syncing with my laptop.
wants to sync laptop to 3g(for all the data in 2g)
and 3g syncs with PC.
2g -> laptop -> 3g -> pc!
