Something cooking my phone...

Hey guys/gals!

2g -8gig iphone here.

been jailbreaking since the beginning.

I been having misc issues since 2.0

My mail would crash often like never before - i wrote it off like not a big deal.

NOW - im jail broken on 2.0.1 and something is KILLING my battery and warming my phone.



my question is more about how I can find out what it is - then asking you guys what it is.

I do not have ssh installed on the phone - but I will if someone can tell me some logs or a process viewer or some what I can see what is cooking my phone.

I got tons of apps instaled both cydia and app store apps.

I need to figure this out - its killing my battery REAL quick.

im charging like 3x a day ......

dude, your phone is running alot of stuff at once that's what's frying it and making it die it's like you trying to do 30 things at the sametime i think you should uninstall unwanted things that you really don't need....

im not sure that is entirely accurate. I do appreciate the help though.

I have had way more apps installed in the past, and it never got hot.

sometimes its not hot at all ..and other times is will be asleep in my pocket and get warm as hell ..more importantly then how hot its getting is how fast it is killin my battery

after updating my phone to 2.0.1 with out a restore from a backup my battery last longer.
