Display problem!!!

He guys,

I got a little problem here. A friend of mine bought the iphone 1.1.1OTB a few months ago. So he was surfing in the internet and then suddenly the lower part of the display turned white. I then restored it to 1.1.4 and it worked again. And now after a week its the same situation again. Restoring it again didn't help. Does anybody of you out there have an idea what is wrong with this phone? It doesn't seem to be a hardware problem...

yeh most likly hardware. its ok apple loves replacing iphones/ i touch

Yeah you may be right. But what I don't get is why it worked for a week after putting 1.1.4 on it.

the older phones screens just crap out some times, it had nuttin to do with the firmware it prob would have happend if u left on 1.1.3 1.1.2, no ones fault, just the screens fault
