How come Backup takes so long?
So I searched on google and a few people said that their backup was also taking awhile but they said it was only taking 25 minutes. My iphone 3g (16gb witch is 5.09 gb free space) is on it's 2nd hour of syncing and isn't done yet (It's about half way). So my question is, has anybody else had a long time like me syncing their iphone/ itouch.
*BTW my iphone always takes this long to sync

The first time it can take a really long time because it is backing up everything that is on your phone. After that it gets quicker because it will only backup what has changed, but I only sync to my computer because of mobileme like once a week so it still takes like 20min every time.
You can also try clicking on the little "X" in the iTunes window and it will stop backing up the iPhone...there is no way to not get that to stop from doing it everytime.

you can just press the little x on the top bar of itunes, when it does it. i never back it up because of how long it takes. its faster if you download all the apps you have on your iphone from itunes also.

It is sending error logs to Apple. If you uncheck the box that says sync every time, right click your iphone in iTunes and click, reset warnings and then sync. When the box pops up, click, do not send to apple. If you have added something to itunes, it may take a little bit the first time, but then sync's should be a minute or two.
