Idea of Iphone purchase

I would like to know how is that i can buy an iphone so i can give it to my cousin, i have AT&T, but i dont want to pay de 30 extra dollars if he is not going to need , neither will I. Let me know, and if nobody knows how i can do that, let me know another way of buying the iphone rather than paying a ridiculous amount to someone reselling. Thanks in advance.

well i think the early termination free is around 170 so a 8gig phone is 200. So sign up for a new plan and cancel it. So if 370 is worth it. Or find someone with ATT then ask then to buy a iPhone then they could cancel it in the 30 days, but just the data and keep the phone. That's the best way i can think of.
